Choi has practiced yoga for over 30 years and practised Vipassana meditation for over 18 years and within that time attended many silent Vipassana retreats. She believes that yoga can benefit and be practiced by all; alignment cues with modifications/variations are continually offered so that classes are inclusive and taught within a compassionate environment. Choi teaches an enriching practice encouraging deep awareness, cultivating compassion, empathy and loving kindness towards ourselves. Mindfulness tools interplay in every class helping to still the fluctuations of the mind and to be more present in the unfolding of each moment, moment-by-moment. She has a keen interest in biomechanics and is passionate about treating each student as unique and individual as they were born.
